So your boss is a bit particular and doesn't want to see the rows with $0.00 showing on the profit and loss report?
No problem...
For example, let's say that you want to eliminate the $0.00 on the following report:
- Run the report as you normally do
- Click the Modify Report button in the upper left hand corner
- Click the Advanced button and a screen like this will appear:
- Make sure you choose the "Non-zero" button and click OK.
- Click OK one last time and refresh your report. It should now look like this - the zeroes have been eliminated:
This functionality is available in QuickBooks Pro, Premier and Enterprise. However, the non-zero option may not be available for each and every report within QuickBooks, since the default parameters for various reports in QuickBooks are different.
