UPDATE TO THIS POST- 9/16/09: This contest is officially closed as of 9/16/09 @ noon ET. While the official announcement on the release date has not been made yet, I have come to learn the sales desk at QuickBooks is now providing various information relating to QuickBooks 2010. Once I get the official information from my contact at Intuit, the grand prize winner will be selected and notified.
QuickBooks 2010 will be released sometime before the end of 2009 (assuming their past history holds true!). Even though I am part of their ProAdvisor channel, unfortunately I don't know any more about the details of the 2010 release than you do. So I thought I'd put together a little contest...

Entering is easy - just fill in the comment box below with your name and your guess as to the date QuickBooks 2010 will be officially put up for sale on the QuickBooks web site. See the contest rules below for more information.

Contest Rules:
- One (1) entry per person. If multiple entries are submitted, only the first submission will be considered.
- One (1) winning entry will be drawn at random from all entries submitted that contain the correct release date of QuickBooks 2010.
- Winner will receive one (1) not-for-resale, fully functional copy of QuickBooks Pro 2010 software.
- In the event no entry selects the correct QuickBooks 2010 release date, one (1) winner will be drawn at random from those submitted with the next closest date of release prior to the actual release date.
- Winner will be notified within five (5) business days of the official release date. Software will be shipped to winner within forty-five (45) days of notification (QuickBooks 2010 software doesn't start shipping immediately upon release, so I won't actually be able to get it to the winner until I can get it from QuickBooks).
